I met them four years ago in California, and they&apos;re the best hosts I could hope for!<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand is great and I&apos;m looking forward to learning all kinds of interesting stuff about the Maori and the country. We&apos;ve been to Mt. Taranaki and around the countryside a bit, and are planning a couple of weekend trips to Rotorua, Wellington, Matamata (&#8220;Hobbiton&#8221;) and the Waitomo caves. Also I&apos;ve sent my driving license off to be translated, so maybe I&apos;ll be driving round New Plymouth myself soon in Denise&apos;s old car&#8230; Let&apos;s hope I never forget to drive on the wrong side of the road! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Only drawback here is that it&apos;s pretty cold, specially considering that I came from almost 40 degress celsius.
