In about two hours we’ll be leaving for Zurich airport, where I’ll no doubt have to pay for the extra (and overweight) bag with donations. I got my hands on 250 children’s t-shirts as well as dental hygiene products, vitamins and underwear, all of which takes up a lot of space, but which will hopefully be a real asset in Jacmel.<\/p>\n

My journey will be quite long, as I have to change in London (four hours wait) and New York’s JFK (9 hours – overnight, not something I’m looking forward to), but I should arrive in Port au Prince tomorrow around noon (GMT -5\/EST). Hopefully I’ll be able to check in here on Friday or Saturday. Until then, take care and wish me luck! \":)\" <\/p>\n

<\/a>In etwa zwei Stunden fahren wir zum Flughafen Z\u00fcrich, wo ich wohl f\u00fcr meine dritte (\u00fcbergewichtige) Tasche mit Spenden bezahlen werden muss. Ich habe 250 Kinder-Tshirts eingepackt, sowie Zahnputzsachen, Vitamine und Unterw\u00e4sche, was alles viel Platz ben\u00f6tigt aber hoffentlich in Jacmel gut gebraucht werden kann.<\/p>\n

Die Reise wird ziemlich lang sein, da ich in London (vier Stunden) und New Yorks JFK (9 Stunden \u00fcber Nacht – worauf ich mich \u00fcberhaupt nicht freue) umsteigen muss.
