[Deutscher Text unten<\/a>]<\/p>\n Last week I sent in the payment for my two months in Haiti, so now it’s time to start putting together lists, making sure I’ll have everything I need. For someone who’s led such a pampered life, sleeping in a tent on concrete floor for two months, in the heat with mosquitoes and frequent rain, is going to be tough. Today I bought a proper air mattress and a mosquito net, but if anyone of you have more experience and can think of essential things to take, to make living more comfortable, let me know, please? <\/p>\n Naturally this all costs money… I have received a lot of support already, but if you could spare a little something, that’d be amazing. —<\/p>\n <\/a>Letzte Woche hab ich die Geb\u00fchr f\u00fcr meine zwei Monate in Haiti eingezahlt, also kann ich jetzt anfangen, Listen zu machen, damit ich alles f\u00fcr meine Reise zusammenkriege. F\u00fcr jemanden, der so ein besch\u00fctztes Leben gef\u00fchrt hat wie ich, wird es hart werden, zwei Monate auf dem Asphalt in einem Zelt zu schlafen, in der Hitze mit Moskitos und viel Regen. Heute hab ich schon mal eine anst\u00e4ndige Luftmatratze und ein impr\u00e4gniertes Moskitonetz gekauft, aber es w\u00e4re toll, wenn Leute mit mehr Erfahrung mir Tips geben k\u00f6nnen, was ich unbedingt mitnehmen soll, um das Leben angenehmer zu gestalten.<\/p>\n All das kostet nat\u00fcrlich… Ich hab schon soviel Unterst\u00fctzung gekriegt – aber wenn ihr ein bisschen was er\u00fcbrigen k\u00f6nntet, w\u00e4re das supertoll! ![\":)\"](\"http:\/\/www.volunteerjournals.org\/wordpress\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_smile.gif\"){kind=icon}
